Description This locus includes four bays created by the Locus 21 Terracotta Tile Piers. These were spaces in which ceramic canalization tile flues were affixed by mortar to the interior face of the Semi-circular Feature (Locus 10) north wall. None of the ceramic tile flues were found in situ, but many sherds from these fixtures were found in the Locus 12 fill inside the bays. The exact number of flues could not be determined from the available evidence.
