Description | A sandstone wall which forms a horseshoe-shape rather than a circular cavea for the Theatron of the Temple. It consists of five courses of neatly 45 degree angle Nabataean dressed stones. The cavea wall has been reconstructed but the first three courses are original. The cavea wall extends 0.20 m below Locus 5Mud Sub floor and is founded on Locus 6 and Locus 7. |
