Definition East Repair to Locus 4 —Orchestra Retaining Wall
Bonds to None.
Description A later repair or blockage in the orchestra wall for an unknown purpose composed of two purpose-cut ashlars. There is a similar repair or blockage in the west of the orchestra wall that was not investigated. The stones have a depth of 0.38 m. The blockage is located at the top of the floor level of the Theatron. The two stones are surrounded by chinking for 0.07 m while the actual blocking stones are only 0.27 m in height and there is an additional 0.03 m of chinking underneath.
