It was laid to abut inside Wall Locus 5, while it bonds to the rubble foundation Locus 25. This suggests that it was positioned at the same time or after the construction of the lower three courses in Wall Locus 5, and at the same time as the foundation for the Middle Pier Wall (Tr. 97, 2004, Locus 11).
Underlies Locus 17.
