Description | This is a compacted layer of soil containing silt, sand, and granules with a Munsell Color 7.5 YR 5/4 (Brown). While it underlies another fill locus (Locus 10), it is to be differentiated because it completely lacks the rubble found in the stratum above. However, it functioned along with Locus 10 as construction leveling between the terracing courses Loci 9 and 12. The fill contained some pottery and bone. |
