Description | The soil fill locus consists of loose silt and sand, with a Munsell Color 7.5YR 6/4 (Brown). This locus represents the sedimentation that was deposited in this area after the W CP East floor pavers were robbed and their original mortar bedding destroyed (cf. SP 104 Final Report). At least the top few centimeters must be considered as overburden, as the surface has been exposed since the excavation of Trench 97 in 2004. However, as the lower few centimeters may be from the original deposition, it has been assigned to Stage 4. |
Phase Description | Phase V: Late Nabataean CE 1st c. redesign and repairs. |
Definition | Overburden sediment |
Top (m) | Opening elevation: 893.878 m. |
