Description | Locus 17 represents the lowest excavated level of SP111. It was a combination of soil and course rubble with a Munsell Color of 7.5YR 4/4. The soil itself was fine and hard packed. Inclusions were few, as were small rocks. This level seems to be the first level of fill for constructing the steps, and seems to be a part of the fill supporting the East Wall (Locus 18). |
