Description | Locus 9 had a Munsell Color of 7.5YR 4/6. It was comprised of wadi mud/fine soil with small and medium wadi stones and pebbles. Inclusions included small amounts of pottery, bone and charcoal. Locus 9 was leveling for the third step up (Locus 3). Nabataean pottery fragments from this level corresponded to Schmids chronology of Nabataean 2b-3a, or approximately 20 BCE 50 CE. |
