Description | At its south end the wall is composed of three courses of irregularly shaped sandstone ashlars set above the Floor Pavers (Locus 6), and over the Top Step/Landing (Locus 5) and the Steps (Loci 1-4) the wall is composed of five course of roughly dressed and hewn sandstone set above the floor in cement. Initially thought to be part of the same wall construction as the South Portion of the West Wall, this locus was included in the description of Locus 5 in the SP94 report. |
