Description | A damp sandy Dark Greyish Brown fill (Munsell 10 YR 4/2) located directly behind the orchestra wall that balls easily. Roof tile inclusions were used in the mortar patch as well as a single piece of ceramic plain ware. The blockage was irregularly cut and patched but did not extend below the floor level and does not seem to have any purpose other than a late repair. |
