Description There is a 1.25 m depth of black soil up against the Locus 35 middle Cryptoporticus Wall of piers. This Munsell 10YR3/2 very dark gray deposit can be noted in the north balk as being 0.79 m in thickness. See section drawing.

Top (m) Opening elevation: In the northeast + 0.17 m in the central west above Sub datum 71 Point K, or 897.28 m; + 0.31 above Sub datum Point K, or 897.419 m.

Location In the northwest sector of Trench 71 extending to the west.
Stage Description Second reuse. Evidence of industrial activity including burning and later architectural installations.

Size 6.36 m north south-by-5.40 m (including the entrance area of the arch piers).
