Description This wall is in a serious state of collapse. It is constructed with stretchers and occasional headers. The arch ashlars are built into the wall itself and extend 0.26 m from the wall itself. These voussoirs average 0.50 to 0.55m in length-by- 0.21 to 0.32 m in width. There is 0.71 – 0.75 m between the arch voussoirs and the wall elements; the distance between the arch elements ranges between 0.67 m and 0.70 m. Affected by continued burning, the wall and piers have been compromised and many of the ashlars are in a state of disintegration.
Location In the very west of Trench 71.
