Description This locus is comprised of a compact very dark gray soil Munsell 7.5YR3/1. It contains large amounts of ash and burnt residue and burnt sand with small amounts of bones. It is an unevenly laid deposit
Size 7.60 m north south-by-2.16 m east west.
Location In the Middle of Trench 71, upper level.
Stage Description Second reuse. Evidence of industrial activity including burning and later architectural installations.

Overlies The Locus 16 stylobate of the middle colonnade.

Abuts The Locus 27 Bench found under the West Wall of the West Triple Colonnade.
