Description	This is the section of the East Boundary Wall/East Stylobate Wall (Tr. 97, 2004, Locus 28) exposed in the SP 105 sounding. It is constructed of 2 courses of large hewn and dressed sandstone ashlars, interspersed with a few snecking stones, laid in wet mortar. The foundation was not exposed, due to the unusual header and stretcher ashlar construction (Locus 24) found beneath the Locus 4 leveling course that was left in situ. The section of this wall is assigned to Stage 3 since it had to be in place prior to the laying of the Stage 4 leveling courses for the W CP East floor (Tr. 97, 2004, Locus 25). [It should be noted here that the foundation of this wall has not yet been examined by excavation. At the time of the current sounding, it was thought that the subsequent SP 104 sounding would expose a section of its foundation. However, the discovery in SP 104 of the transverse walls beneath the W CP East floor between the vaults in the east and west walls of the gallery prohibited the examination of this foundation.
