Description | This locus measures 5.66 m-x-3.10 m. This deposition layer of black-brown (5YR 3/2) soil has ash and charcoal bits over its surface. There are inclusions of yellow-green clay material recorded as well at the "Temple of the Winged Lions" as roof fall. This layer contains pottery, plaster, metal fragments, roof tiles, broken ashlar, tesserae and bone. This is the final deposition layer over the floor (Locus 22). |
