Work began iwth a pick pass in Locus 3 in the eastern metre. Terracotta was found. Another pick pass was done in Locus 2 (to the east of Stump F) and Locus 3 (to the west of Stump F) and material collected separately. Both loci remain consistent in soil colour. Another pick pass was done in the NE and SE corner metres as these areas were unevenly high. In the NE area, a piece of bronze (Special Find No.1) was found.

After this pass was collected, baulk walling began on the eastern and southern baulk walls. While the last of the pick pass was collected, a statue fragment (Special Find No. 2) was found in the south-east Locus 2 area.

After baulk walling, it became obvious that the area around Stump F is now showing Locus 3 soil. This area has now been declared Locus 3 in conjunction with the rest of the trench.

Now that the trench is lovel, a pick pass was done across the northern metre. A piece of vitrified terracotta was found. (Special Find No. 3)

Roots were clipped.
A pick pass was done in the next most northerly metre of the trench in Locus 3. The pit feature is covered to protect it while excavation continues. A second pick pass was done on the next most southerly metre. While picking up, a piece of vitrified terracotta was found. (Special Find No. 4)

Another pick pass was done in the most southerly metre. Following this the barrier between CB 56 and CB 57 was brought down.
