Description | Locus 20 is a poorly-preserved curbstone laid east-west just to the north of the Retaining Wall, Locus 15. It is damaged along its length and missing many stones. The space between Loci 20 and 15 was most likely filled with a length of lead pipe, preserved as Locus 13. The curb continues west in front of the staircase, Locus 7, and may in fact have served as the first step here. |
