Description This locus is comprised of the threshold that connects the north steps (Locus 15) and the Nabataen floor (Locus 12). It is a single smooth faced paver of sandstone/limestone, set into dirt. It is bonded with cement to the west wall (Locus 5) to a depth of 0.03 M. It measures It acts as the top step of the north stairs, and rises 0.16 m above the top step of Locus 15. It also acts as the first paver in the Nabataen floor (Locus 12), with which it sits flush. The threshold has a square doorpost hole on the west side measuring 0.11 m on the north-south axis, and 0.08 m on the east-west axis. The hole is located 0.11 m from the west wall (Locus 5), and 0.67 m from the east wall (Locus 2).
