Description This wall is a continuation of the Locus 3 West Wall of the West Entry Steps. It is bonded to the Locus 10 Nefesh Platform-Terrace and provides its south support; it then takes a corner to the east and continues in the line of the Locus 3 West Wall. It is a sturdy sandstone wall of hewn blocks that are wet laid with mortar. It is six courses in height in the northeast corner where it joins with the the Locus 11 steps. Is upper courses have suffered from the onslaught of collapse and erosion, and its ashlars are compromised. The justification for ascribing these steps to this phase is that all the extant steps and platform landings are considered to have been constructed concurrently.
