Abuts Locus 5.
Description A stratum of rough hewn boulders and wadi/field stones of various sizes. It was dry-laid in packed soil and is relatively even. It appears to be a construction element for the artificial terracing beneath the Lower Temenos. Assigned to Stage 1 because it had to be laid prior to the construction of Wall Locus 5 and all subsequent stone strata up to the W CP East floor pavers.
