Size The length has been measured from inside the West Corridor Wall West Face, Locus 2 to inside West ‘Byzantine’ Wall, Locus 3. This length is 6.00 m north south-by- 3.78 m east west width.
Bottom (m) Bottom elevation: From Point A to the Locus 9 Corridor Floor, 2.18 m or 886.05 m.
Combined with Locus 8 Part II, and Locus 10 Part III.

Description This is a soil deposit comprised of dumping from the excavation of the West Corridor excavation onto the preexisting topsoil, a collapse layer, a secondary fluvial sandy layer that is 0.40 m in thickness and a primary fluvial sandy layer approximately 0.50 m in thickness with stones. The primary soil color is a Munsell 2.5YR6/4.
