Excavation was discontinued in locus 10 .

Closing Co-ordinates of locus 10:

NW (68-E/41-S):  105 cm. below datum point = 26.73 m. above absolute elevation.

NE (69-E/41-S): 104 cm. below datum point = 26.74 m. above absolute elevation.

SE (69-E/44-S):  132 cm. below datum point = 26.46 m. above absolute elevation.

SW (67-E/44-S):  128 cm. below datum point = 26.50 m. above absolute elevation.

W (68-E/41.5-S):  120 cm. below datum point = 26.58 m. above absolute elevation.

The eastern-balk wall of the trench was being cleared when it was decided to extend the trench two meters to the east.  In the balk-wall cleaning two small pottery sherds were found, and approximately one dozen small fragments of terracotta was recovered.

The new area to be excavated was cleared and lines established.  The topsoil layer was declared locus 11 .  Photos were taken and co-ordinate depths measured.  Excavation commenced in locus 11.  The area was picked, and sorting was done into a wheelbarrow.  The locus consists of dark-brown

terracotta fragments was recovered.  Five sherds of pottery was found.  There were no special finds.
