Description | Collapse of the Deirdre Column, which fell to the southwest. Several drums were discovered, as were fragments of capital. The fallen drums sat on top of the wall collapse, Locus 4 (see below); therefore, this represents a relatively late event. Two drums of this column, and two halves of the lower part (acanthus order) of a capital were re-erected on this column. |
