Definition Collapse of the Deirdre Column.
Stage Description Major collapse and architectural overburden throughout the Theater area.
Description Collapse of the Deirdre Column, which fell to the southwest. Several drums were discovered, as were fragments of capital. The fallen drums sat on top of the wall collapse, Locus 4 (see below); therefore, this represents a relatively late event. Two drums of this column, and two halves of the lower part (acanthus order) of a capital were re-erected on this column.
