Size	23.5 east west-by-1.20 north south, but the north south dimensions are unsure, because it has been incompletely excavated and backs up against the rubble and ashlar fill of the Lower Temenos.

Description	This wall appears to have been constructed in two stages. The early stage is the Lower Temenos Retaining Wall and the later stage is the arch springer wall for the cryptoporticus system. It is in poor condition. This wall stands some 6.33 m above the Street. Although we have considered it one wall, one locus, however, there are signs that sections of it have been rebuilt in antiquity (See Locus 12 below).
