Description Wall Locus 8 is shared by Rooms 2 and 3, and given the same locus designation for both rooms. In Room 2 (its west face) it is eight courses in height, but in Room 3 (its west face) it is only six courses in height.

Top (m) Opening elevation: 895.682 m for Locus 3, Locus 8 it is 894.302 m.
Phase VII
Stage Description Building of the north south walls creating Propylaeum East Rooms 1, 2 and 3 with entrances from the street.
Cuts None.
Bottom (m) Closing Elevation: 894.90 m or at the uppermost wall ashlar of Locus 8 North South Wall extending under the Locus 3 wall. Closing elevation for Locus 8 is 891.457 m.
Size This wall has been imperiled by collapse; its upper courses are damaged probably from falling columns and ashlars. It was excavated in 2001 in Trench 82. It is 10.50 m in length-by-approximately 0.60 m in width. From the south this wall extends to a 2.55 m length and then there is a 2.04 m gap before its destination to the Portico Wall and Room 2 Doorway #2. Combined with the Locus 3 wall, with which it obviously belongs, the wall is 1.23 m in width as it was originally constructed.
Location In Trench 95 east. This wall is shared with Trench 82 2001 to its east.

Abuts Locus 1 PE East West Lower Temenos Retaining Wall and the Locus 15 East Face of Doorway #2 of the Portico Wall.
