Description An artificial soil locus created to distinguish between the fill and the soil in the recess of the cavea. It was determined from excavation that the cavea recess was merely necessary for the construction of the curvilinear wall from rough-hewn stones. The soil is strong brown (Munsell 7.5 YR 5/6).
