Description |
Locus 2 lay below Locus 1 in in the eastern central part of the CA93 trench. It was approximately 0.30 meters wide and 1.5 meters in length. Locus 2 was identified because its soil color and compaction was distinct to the topsoil in Locus 1; it was a lighter yellow-gray soil with loose compaction. It contained no material culture or any suggestion of anthropogenic activity. It was surrounded by natural outcroppings of bedrock. |
