Description | Retaining or supporting wall of sandstone blocks, hewn and dressed, oriented north south and acting as a boundary between the Lower Temenos of the Great Temple and the north garden of the Lower Market. The wall runs right between and parallel to the East Cryptoporticus Wall of the East Triple Colonnade of the Lower Temenos, and the west retaining or boundary wall of the northern garden area of the Lower Market site. Its top is exposed for much of its length, from the Propylaeum area to the region of the East Exedra, but in Trench 99 it can be seen as founded upon what might be Parrs Wall K. |
