Description | Wall of sandstone blocks, hewn and dressed sitting on top of what may be Parrs Wall K (Locus 18) and built up against a retaining or boundary wall oriented north south and running parallel to the East Cryptoporticus Wall of the East Triple Colonnade of the Lower Temenos. Viewed from above, this wall in plan seems to turn a corner, running east west to the boundary wall and then turning north south. The inside of this corner is plastered, perhaps to retain soil moisture from the northern garden of the so-called Lower Market. |
