Top (m) Opening depth: 899.756 m at north; 904.116 m at south.
Bottom (m) Closing depth: 899.436 m at north; 903.446 m at south.
Description Locus 2 was originally seen as a floor or floor bedding and mapped as such; in retrospect, it seems more likely that it merely represents the top of Locus 3, the thick fill layer, which contains large stones, laid flat. Above Locus 2 lies a more-likely candidate for a bedding, Locus 27 (see below).
