Description | Sandstone curb just south of the southern Pulpitum wall. It was clearly built with and was contemporary with this feature. The blocks are of varying lengths, and sometimes yellow/white sandstone alternates with red, but all are approx.0.40 m in width. The orchestra floor abuts this feature, and there is a depression or "trough" behind the blocks, which is in some places filled with a mud mortar or plaster (see Loci 31 and 32, below). |
