Description This locus was originally placed to the south of the Locus 17 East West Stepped Retaining Wall as a test trench. The soil was predominantly a light reddish brown color Munsell 5YR6/4 and retained its color character until the locus was closed, which indicates that it was little affected by the localized burning of its neighbor, Locus 32. Was it therefore deposited at a different time? The artifact repertoire of this locus was rich and represents collapse from the West Triple Colonnade.
Combined with Collapse.
