Description | Locus 4, which measures 5.11 m in length, is a wall constructed of sandstone ashlars. The top course consists of wedge-shaped blocks used to support the arch stones of the vault. The bottom four courses of the wall are relatively well constructed, in contrast to the upper excavated courses. There are also four in situ arch stones (Locus 8) on top of the top course. |
