Description This partition wall between Rooms 1 and 2 has a well-built façade primarily of stretchers that are set to be staggered with those below. These ashlars are well dressed. It is interesting that when this wall was constructed, there was an effort made to bond it as securely as possible with the Locus 1 Lower Temenos Retaining wall. Although the wall abuts the earlier Locus 1 wall, the Locus 1 has been intentionally gouged away for the secure footing of this wall on the south. At the conclusion of the excavation this wall ranged from nine courses in height to only three. This of course was due to the force of the collapse of the PE elements from above.
