Description | The measurements for this locus remain approximate. The northern border of the bulldozed area extends from the southern border of Locus 6 to the southern end of the Great Temple. The Brown (Munsell 7.5 YR 5/4) soil was comprised of fine, loose sand and this locus contained sandstone and limestone blocks, as well as some pottery. The bulldozer maintained a distance of 1.00 m from the East Corridor Wall and 1.00 m south from Locus 6. The bulldozer removed one pass of dirt, leaving a depression approximately 1.50 m in depth in the north. Most of the removed deposit appears to have been overburden. |
