Description | The soil is a Brown (Munsell 7.5YR 5/4), compacted sand. This area served as a protective balk between the northern section of the Trench, which was excavated by hand, and the bulldozed areas in the south. The Locus measured 1.80 m north south by 3.52 m east west across the East Walkway area. |
