Description | This wall is composed of hewn sandstone masonry. It probably served as the original façade wall of Cave 1, before the rest of the architecture north of Cave 1 was constructed. Originally there might have been a small roof leaning on this wall, on top of the front area of the cave, since holes for wooden beams were found above this wall, on top of the northernmost cut edge of Cave 1. |
