Munsell Color 2.5Y 5/4 light olive brown
Description The soil is yellowish-olive brown. The SE co-ordinate depth measurements are made on the NW corner of the section of soil left around the base of the tree in the SE corner. The number of fist-size and smaller stones is significantly larger than in locus 13. The bottom of the locus is almost packed with stones. There is a fairly large stone in the NW sector of this locus (circa 55 x 35 x 20 cm.). Approximately one bowl (16 cm. in diameter/8 cm. in depth) of small well-worn terracotta fragments was recovered. 100 pottery sherds were found.
