Description	Locus 24 is an ash lens that was confused with Locus 11, the ash layer, and not recognized until it had been cleared in the balk. Locus 25, a fill layer that looks like Locus 17, intervenes. Locus 24 is a fine, loose, silty soil, 2.5YR 2.5/1 (reddish black); some inclusions can be seen in the balk.
