Description This locus, 1.24 m-x-0.68 m, emerged in Locus 7 and consists of a sandstone platform and stairway between the Anta pier (Locus 9) and Locus 5 Wall and descends to the bedding (Locus 19). The stairs are constructed from the blocks of the Anta pier and wall Locus 5. The platform extends into the south end of the West Pronaos and requires more excavation to reveal its use in this area. There are plaster inclusions in the cracks of the stairs indicating the possibility of stairway pavers over the steps.
