Description | This soil deposit was the coarsest fill in Tr. 126. It contained a compacted mix of sand, granules, and pebbles, with a consistent Munsell Color ranged between 5YR 4/34/4 (Reddish Brown). The fill also contained a few random architectural fragments, as well as a small quantities of pottery and metal. The deposition appears to have been the result of intentional construction filling, after the original floor pavers covering the locus had been destroyed or removed. |
