Definition Soil Deposit between Loci 9A and 9B Floor Pavers and Locus 11B Subfloor
Description Soil deposit in the area of the missing Loci 9A and 9B floor pavers. This was a fine, compacted soil with a consistency ranging between silt and sand. The Munsell Color was 7.5 YR 5/4 (Brown). The deposition process appears to have been sedimentation after the floor pavers were either destroyed by collapsed ashlars from Wall Locus 8 or robbed out once the room went out of use. Excavation of the deposit yielded no small finds.
