Stage Description Accumulation of modern topsoil.
Description Locus 1 is the ubiquitous sandy/silty topsoil, very loose and dusty from wind and years of work on the site, color 7.5YR 4/4 (brown). It has some inclusions, and cultural material which range from ancient to modern. This topsoil is a constant throughout the site.
