Description | This locus, 2.25-x-2 m of sandstone is found east of Anta pier Locus 2, and is slightly higher than the bedding, Locus 6 of the Pronaos. Six sandstone blocks that extend north- to-south appear to be the top risers of an earlier stairway of the smaller distyle in antis, Temple complex. They abut both the anta pier Locus 2 and Wall Locus 3. As shown in the top plan, these stones were integrated into the East Corridor bedding. No further excavation was conducted in the East Pronaos this season. |
