Description This blocking wall is constructed of small to medium sandstone ashlars that are diagonally dressed on those faces facing outward into the Southern Passageway. The wall is preserved to 12 courses at a height of 4.35 m and extends the full width (1.88 m) and depth (1.20 m) of the doorway. Similar to the construction of the east blocked doorway Locus 3. In the upper courses of the southern face of the central blocked doorway there is a vertical cut measuring circa 0.16 m wide and preserved to a height of 1.20 m. Additionally, the vertical cut extends horizontally into the interior of the blocked doorway, angled to form a keystone cut parallel to the floor. This keystone cut, as well as the entire north face of the blocked doorway, are covered with a 0.02 m thick layer of white plaster.
