Phase VI: Late Nabataean pre-CE 106 minor collapses and repairs. The East, West and South Corridor doorways... (Classification Category or Type)
Documentation Note
Phase VI: Late Nabataean pre-CE 106 minor collapses and repairs. The East, West and South Corridor doorways are blocked or narrowed limiting access to the temple and "arrow-slits" are added in the South Corridor. This apparent fortification of the temple is likely in response to an attack by Roman general, Cornelius Palma. Collapse at this time is indicated by damage to the east and west walls of the East Interior Staircase.
