Excavation continued in locus 2 . The entire locus was picked except the south-eastern corner that is occupied by a live tree stump. The locus was lowered approximately 5 cm. A different soil type has appeared. Therefore the locus was cleaned up and closed. Approximately 2/3 bowl of small well-worn terracotta fragments were recovered. Three sherds of pottery were found: two of fine ware, one part of the rim of a small pithos.
Closing Co-ordinates of locus 2:
NW (65-E/41-S): 85 cm. below datum point = 26.93 m. above absolute elevation.
NE (68-E/41-S): 87 cm. below datum point = 26.91 m. above absolute elevation.
E (68-E/41.5-S): 85 cm. below datum point = 26.93 m. above absolute elevation.
SE (67-E/44-S): 97 cm. below datum point = 26.81 m. above absolute elevation.
SW (65-E/44-S): 98 cm. below datum point = 26.80 m. above absolute elevation.
