While cleaning a piece of unusual terracotta was found (SF #1), a unique piece of terracotta was found (SF #2), and a possible statue fragment was discovered (SF #3). Another pick pass was done in the next meter south (51-52 S). While sorting the soil a piece of cavetto was found (SF #4). Tile and pottery was unearthed. A pick pass was done in the northern part of the locus. Tile and pottery was recovered. The soil still seems to be the darker brown soil with flakey soil included. The next meter south was picked. Soil was sorted into buckets and dumped. The final meter was picked and sorted. While sorting a piece of worked chert was found (SF #7). Because of the amount of soil removed, the western and northern baulks need to be trimmed. The afternoon was spent trimming baulks.
