The area was extended to the east to cover meters A-C/23-26. It is near the area excavated by Eva Rystedt (see ER I 1971, T-18).
The dark reddish soil is located just below a greyish yellow soil, and is followed by a layer of crushed rocks that are irregularly layed or piled. The area left in port D was cleared up to meters A-D/18.
A section was cut through D-G/20-21 to verify the previous results achieved in profile. In the layer after the greyish yellow soil, a layer of stamped clay (yellow layer) was found to be a pavement which continued from the northern wall of the upper building to the middle of D in the northern direction (3.5 meters). This level was not observed in grids A-C/10.35-18. The floor level is

- A piece of rocchetto with a stamp on one side (cocentric circles)
of yellow soil is followed by a dark-reddish soil, then a light brown soil with some carbon content, then a layer of crushed rock with roof tiles and coarse pottery. A heavy carbon layer is succeeded by a brownish yellow layer with almost no pottery.
