P.M.

A cut was made in grids Q-R/58-59 down to 60 cm from the surface at Q.  The soil at this level is hard-packed and clay-like.  Little was found, tiles mostly.  Some fragments of orangeware pottery were found.  Tooth and bone was also discovered from the wheelbarrow.

Of particular interest was a fragment of cavetto found in Q/58.  A fragment of (perhaps) ridgepole was also found in the wheelbarrow.  Two impasto fragments were found, one of which was a base.

Note:  Morning - T-26 floor of S.E. building was cleaned.
